Informatics Vision 2010 Ankara
Meeting was Held

The first of the serial meetings
which were planned by TUBIDER (IT Sector Association) under the name of Sector
Meetings was held in Ankara on 20th of May 2008 under the name of Informatics
Vision 2010.
The senior managers of around 70 companies which have operations in Ankara, and
members of administrative board of TUBIDER and also of Kocaeli Branch
Administrators and members participated in the meeting. The meeting started with
the welcome speech of Nuray Başar who is the head of the TUBIDER Ankara Branch.
Also Ziya Karabulut who is the General Manager of the Ministry of Industry and
Trade Industry Research and Development and Veli Sarıtoprak, Head of TUSIAV (Turkish
Industrialist and Businessman Association) participated the meeting.
Technoparks will be
Operating Until 2023
Karabulut who is the General Manager of the Ministry of Industry and Trade
Industry Research and Development told that the needed preparations were
completed for the law change extending the operations duration of the
Technoparks until 2023 so as to provide cooperation between the industy and
university and to prompt the production with high added value and advanced
technology focus which can compete in the international markets.
Ziya Karabulut who is the General
Manager of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Industry Research and Development
said that the needed law change has been completed for the law change extending
the operations duration of the Technoparks from 2013 until 2023 and it will be
brought to the parliament in the oncoming months.
TUBIDER Announced the CPU-TURKEY
2008 Contest
TUBIDER
(IT Sector Association) introduced the contest of Designing Processor Unit which
it held under the name of “TURKEY DESIGNS IT’S OWN PROCESSOR” so as to support
the development of innovation and technical training in Turkey, to promote the
creativity in Turkey and to provide for an opportunity for youth to show
themselves and to prompt the creativity of young people, to compose
consciousness in the society About innovation and remote education and to
support the academical efforts of developing innovative products.
The contest will be held in
the categories of Virtual Processor Design, FPGA and Physical Processor Design,
Academic İnnovative Buried System Design. Anybody older than 18 who is high
school or university student or graduated and who is not working or trainee in a
technology company, ever size technology companies, academics from state or
foundation universities or the groups having the above conditions can
participate in the contest.

TUBIDER Extraordinary General
Meeting was Done
TUBIDER IT
Sector Association Extraordinary General Meeting was done on 31 May Saturday in
Taksim Hill Hotel. After the meeting, the new administrative board elected
Niyazi Saral from Çizgi Electronic as the chairman of the association.
In the election
for the vice presidencies Ali Hacınoğmanoğlu from Piramit Computer was elected
as vice chairman who is responsible from Vocational Organisation and Relations
with the Branches, Nuray Başar was elected as the vice chairwoman who is
responsible from Public Relations, Ataman Yıldırım from Naryaz Computer was
elected as the vice chairman who is responsible from Vocational Trainings, and
Rekin Fındık from Ulukom Computer was elected as the vice chairman who is
responsible from Market Supervision and Control. Also Ahmet Şükrü Koraman from
Bilden Computer was elected as the General Secretary of the Association and Musa
Karatay from Tabim Software was elected as the controller of the Association. It
has been decided by the Administration of the Association that the working
groups and commissions will submit their working programmes to the
Administrative Board and it adopted the principle that the activities should be
fulfilled in coordination and cooperation. The Administrative Board called all
the members to serve in the working groups and commissions, drew attention to
the participation in the sectoral activities.
